One of my favorite hobbies, I have been writing since I was in junior high school.
As a teenager, I felt, as most teenagers do, that nobody understood how I felt about anything.
I had no way to express the emotions that were overwhelming me, and so I began to write.
I wrote letters that I knew I would never send, stories about me and my friends, and poems about my feelings and imaginings.  As I got older, I found a better sense of myself.  I still write today, yet it is the poetry I wrote during these years that I treasure.  It is like a map of the roads I have walked; the love, heartbreak, hopes, dreams that I experienced, which have shaped part of who I am now.
I will continue to add new poems when time permits!
